You are ready to make a difference in the lives of people with visual impairments all around the world.
You have seen success with your students and you just know that your ideas can help other O&M Specialists who face the same obstacles you faced.
We are thrilled that you are interested in presenting at the second annual International Orientation and Mobility Online Symposium (IOMOS)!
The next International Orientation and Mobility Online Symposium will be held January 30-February 1, 2019, Eastern Standard Time. Check the World Clock to find out what those dates are for your time zone.
IOMOS is a community driven virtual conference for Orientation and Mobility Specialists. We serve O&M Specialists through live video conference presentations over the course of 2-3 days. We host one presentation at a time. No need to jinx the tech gods just yet! This year, participants will have the option of attending live or watching a replay of your presentation within a certain time frame.
It is very much like being in a regular conference, except that you don’t have to leave your house to be able to present.

Imagine you are helping a frustrated O&M Specialist solve a problem. What problem are they facing that can be solved with the information you share in your presentation? What strategies or techniques are you going to give them to help them solve this problem? Keep these questions in the forefront of your mind as you fill out this application.
Please note: While we are very appreciative of all research and data-driven presentation ideas, we are specifically looking for strategies and action items that our community members can immediately implement after your presentation.
